The Fourth China Classical Communication Tiger Roar Awards held its grand award ceremony in Nanjing on May 31, 2013 to announce the recipients. Several advertising cases from JCDecaux China’s two Joint Ventures, including Beijing Top Result Metro Advertising Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Metro JCDecaux Advertising Co., Ltd., were recognized by the appraisal and selection committee of the Tiger Roar Awards and received three bronze prizes.
The China Classical Communication Tiger Roar Awards, which was launched by Advertising Panorama, relies on a professional and independent review standard to reward dedication and encourage originality, commend classic cases and develop the most authoritative, forward-looking and innovative event in the commercial communication market. The annual award will select and honor organizations, individuals and marketing cases which demonstrated an extraordinary performance for the preceding year.
JCDecaux China’s prize-winning works included two cases from Beijing Top Result Metro Advertising Co., Ltd., “A Click at Keyboard, Experience of Win8” and “Explorers Creating Vivid Outdoor Experience”, and another case from the Nanjing Metro JCDecaux Advertising Co., Ltd., “Nanjing Metro’s Promotion of Lay’s Crispy Potato Chips”. “A Click at Keyboard, Experience of Win8” received the bronze prize for digital and associated products. This advertisement involved the clever use of metro spaces, presented familiar electronic products such as keyboards and display screens that challenged the normal size conception in an exaggerated manner. This was considered in correlation with the characteristics of the Win8 product to tell small life stories. Similarly, “Explorers Creating Vivid Outdoor Experience” was recognized by the Bronze Prize of daily goods, garment and jewelry. In this case, the metro station is reshaped into an extreme outdoor environment to impose a powerful impact upon passengers in terms of brand impression allowing them to experience the charms of the product through the multiple perceptive channels. “Nanjing Metro’s Promotion of Lay’s Crispy Potato Chips” was honored by the bronze prize for food, drugs and health foods. As the customized metro promotion plan to meet Lay’s demand for promoting the new product of “Crispy Potato Chips”, it utilized an innovative combination of model display and LED, which involved 65-inch LED screens to cover high-quality stations and attract target customers. The new form has created a considerable impression on passengers and gained outstanding results for the promotion of the product.
