The 18th China International Advertising Festival was held in Shenyang International Exhibition Center in Liaoning province from September 25 to September27,2011. Concurrently, the International Creative Forum also proceeded smoothly. Jean-Marie Imperore, NOD Director for JCDecaux China, introduced JCDecaux Group's creative product "U联" to the audience. U联 is an application based on matured image recognition technology that the public can download onto their smart phones. Thanks to this application, customers can receive digital content provided by advertisers simply from the photo of a poster taken with a smart phone. China is the third country where JCDecaux Group has launched "U联", after France and Germany.
