On 9 Nov 11, the 2011 Fourth ROI Festival Annual Award ceremony was held at Shanghai Center Theatre, which was attended by top-notch advertising, media agencies, public relations agencies, research companies, media companies, digital media companies, search marketing companies, direct marketing companies from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, all assembled at one place to witness the revelation of the award winners. JCDecaux China was awarded the "2011 Fourth ROI Festival Annual Award - Best Media Company Media Award". The works presented by the subsidiaries of JCDecaux China, such as Beijing Top Result Metro Advertising Co., Ltd., JCDecaux China Nanjing MPI Metro Advertising Co., Ltd., and Nanjing MPI Public Transport Advertising Co., Ltd.. won the approval of the ROI Festival Award Committee, and each of them were separately awarded a ROI Media Award.
The "ROI Festival Award" was sponsored by Disanzhongren Media, and this is the award's fourth ceremony, where the most budget savvy advertisers were awarded, where the highest returns were reaped and the greatest impact was achieved from a relatively low marketing budget. This award is divided into five major award categories, with the aim to encourage and reward improvement: ROI Brand Creativity Award, ROI Production Award, ROI Media Award, ROI Digital Media Award, and ROI Product Award. The ROI Media Award is awarded to excellent marketing cases achieved through traditional media platforms, such as television, newspaper, magazines, and radio broadcasts. Marketing cases where the impact of the advertisement and the investment returns heavily outweigh the investment budget, will be evaluated and chosen.
For this ROI Awards, 2401 participating entries were presented by over 438 companies from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, which went through two rounds of stringent evaluation, where only 19.2% of the entries were qualified for nomination, and the winning chances were 5.99%. Beijing Top Result Metro Advertising Co., Ltd. presented an entry titled "Creativity has no limits - Presenting new products by Ikea", which was awarded the "Fourth ROI Festival Media Award - Media Application Category Award", whereas Beijing Top Result Metro Advertising Co., Ltd.'s other works "New dynamic dual-screen subway dressing room by H&M", "Colorful three-door glass door refrigerator by Bosch", "Interactive lighted display by Heijiabai- the new trend in outdoor advertising" were awarded the Fourth ROI Festival Media Award - Media Application Category Nomination Award, which was also awarded to "Sprite, obey your thirst" advertisement used to promote the diamond-themed subway restaurant at Nanjing subway station by JCDecaux China Nanjing MPI Metro Advertising Co.,Ltd., and "Tuniu.com" by Nanjing MPI Public Transport Advertising Co., Ltd.
