On May 22nd, 2012, the launching ceremony of "Postal Parcel for Mothers", a public welfare program sponsored by All-China Women's Federation and organized by China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF) was held in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing. Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC and President of All-China Women's Federation Chen Zhili, leaders of All-China Women's Federation and relevant ministries, figures from the show business and reporters from about 40 media around the country attended the launching ceremony. As the media partner of CWDF, JCDecaux China, from the beginning of May, started to disseminate the public welfare program "Postal Parcel for Mothers" with its media resources of metro in Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing and Chongqing, accompanied by the launch of advertisement on 110 metro lightboxes, with the purpose to wake up the concern of city people for the poor mothers in the west.

"Postal Parcel for Mothers", following "Water Cellar for Mothers", "Mothers Health Express" and "Micro Credit for Mothers", is another public welfare program initiated by All-China Women's Federation and CWDF, to benefit poor mothers.

As the leading outdoor advertising company in the world, JCDecaux entered the Chinese market in 2005, with operations in 34 cities of China (including Hong Kong and Macao). It owns China's leading metro media network and operates 32 lines, 616 stations, over 57,000 media spaces in seven major cities of China (namely: Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Suzhou and Hong Kong), with flow of people to reach 21.18 million. The public welfare program "Postal Parcel for Mothers" becomes the beginning of cooperation between JCDecaux and CWDF. As the media partner of CWDF, JCDecaux China will base on its own media resources to vigorously promote this public welfare program and call for more people to join in the group to care about women and children in poor regions. Thus the charity culture can be further cultivated and a new-type public welfare service platform can be created for the whole society, which will lead the public to pay more attention to the poor mothers and be concerned about disadvantaged groups.

The public "Postal Parcel for Mothers" is mainly poor mothers-oriented. Based on the names and addresses of poor mothers provided by grass-roots women's federations, taking the approach of advancing by whole villages progressing by each country, and using the experience of one point to lead the whole area and expand coverage, it will accurately deliver the "Postal Parcel for Mothers" which mainly contains necessities of life, to the poor mothers. This project has got great support and participation from the society and it is also under the supporting services of green channel offered by China Post. In addition, it will promptly feed back information of the aided to the donators by mailing "feedback cards".

The cooperation with CWDF continued JCDecaux China's consistent corporate social responsibility. Over the years, JCDecaux China has been endeavoring to expand cooperation with social welfare organizations and become actively involved in the development of public welfare undertakings in China. JCDecaux China has successively become the first cooperative enterprise of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) "Earth Hour" in China, the promotional partner of the Climate Group "Million Forest" project and the promotional partner of One Foundation. So far since 2009, as the long-term partner of WWF in China, JCDecaux China has participated in supporting the promotion of "Earth Hour" with its own media resources for four consecutive years. In 2010, JCDecaux China collaborated with the Climate Group and the personal public service brand of Li Bingbing to initiate the network campaign “Who is a Hero in Low-Carbon Living”.In 2011, JCDecaux once again joined hands with the Climate Group and collaborated with Baidu Encyclopedia (baike.baidu.com) to launch the public welfare program "Million-Miracle". JCDecaux always hopes it can depend on its own efforts, advantage of media resources and constantly innovating ideas, to advocate environmental and low-carbon public welfare philosophy and way of life, and to encourage more public to take the initiative to be concerned about public welfare and sustainable development.
