The 7th anniversary of “The Best of Best” was unveiled in Hong Kong on 16th March, 2009. the “Swarovski Sparkling Crystal Tunnel” has won three awards: My Favourite Campaign-Golden Award, Best Branding Campaign-Golden Award, Best of the Best - Use of Media(Platinum Award). At the same time, Best of the Best – Creative (Platinum Award), Poster Campaign of the Year- Golden Award go to “No one grows Ketchup like Heinz” from Heinz Ketchup. This event has totally 16 awards which will be voted by the selection committee and public respectively.

The Best of the Best Awards has been held annually since 2002 and marked its 7th anniversary this year, to recognize the outstanding achievements and creative excellence in MTR advertising. By recognizing the substantial contributions made by advertisers, creative agencies and media agencies for their outstanding works, the Best of the Best Awards aims to encourage the advertising industry to exploit new ideas and to produce more creative executions in the future.

The BOB is the annual event for China outdoor advertising industry, which has been introduced to the mainland China by JCDecaux in 2007. The Awards aim to encourage emerge of more outstanding achievements in metro, to fill a gap in China and to drive the development of the whole outdoor advertising industry.

The third BOB will be held in Sheraton Shanghai on 2nd April. This event has totally 10 awards, including Best Use of Media (Platinum award), Best Creative (Platinum award), My Favorite Digital Media Campaign, Best Tactical Campaign, Best Branding and so on, which will be voted by the selection committee and public respectively.

Judges for this year’s BOB are all the authorities from academia, media and international well-known advertising companies. This professional and representative selection committee, consisting of professor Chen Gang, assistant dean at School of Journalism and Communication, Peking University; Mr. Zhang Huixin, president of China Advertising Magazine; Ms. Chen Weiwei, chairman , CEO, and executive director of LeoBurnett Shanghai Company, ensures the public trust and authority of the awards.
