This year Hongqiao International Airport has taken 1st place in the World's Most Improved Airport award. Based on survey results from 11.38 million questionnaires, The World Airport Awards are completed by passengers from 100 different nationalities and cover more than 240 airports worldwide.
The survey evaluates traveler experiences across 39 different airport service and product factors, from check-in, arrivals, transfer through to departure at the gate.
The World Airport Survey has been in operation since 1999 and is held in highest esteem, for its clarity of process and rigorously applied rules of complete independence.
