Established in 1964, JCDecaux pioneered the street furniture concept and is today the leading outdoor advertising company in Europe and Asia Pacific and No. 2 worldwide. Listed on the Euronext Paris, the Group owns 725,000 advertising panels in 48 countries and employs 7,900 people worldwide, generating total annual revenue of USD 2,170 million in 2005.

JCDecaux’s corporate industrial activities have been ISO 9001 certified since 2000 by BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International). They were also ISO 9002 certified from 1997 to 2000. The 9001 certification covers the design, manufacturing and supply of street furniture and associated maintenance parts including vertical road signages.

JCDecaux China began operations in 2005 through acquisitions of reputable local outdoor advertising companies and other new contracts. The Company’s businesses now span 22 cities in Greater China, including Hong Kong and Macau, creating the largest and most diversified outdoor media network in Greater China, covering metro, bus, airport, street furniture and campus advertising.

Stephen, Hon Chiu Wong
CEO, JCDecaux Greater China

Stephen Wong joined JCDecaux group in 1998. He is now the CEO for JCDecaux Greater China in charge of the business management in 22 cities in China (including Hong Kong and Macau).

Mr. Wong holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Sydney University and a master’s degree in commerce from the University of New South Wales of Australia. He is an Australian Chartered accountant and a Fellow of HKICPA. He has 14 years of senior media management experience in print and outdoor advertising in Hong Kong, including the last 8 years at JCDecaux. Before joining the media industry, he had over 10 years of experience in merchant banking in Australia.
Brian, Kam Wai Sum,
Executive Chairman, China

Brian Kam was previously the Executive Chairman for JCDecaux Pearl &Dean China and appointed as the Executive Chairman for JCDecaux China in 2004 with the responsibility focusing on the group’s strategic development in China including business development and acquisition projects.

Mr. Kam is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has over 15 years of experience in the media business development and management. In the 1990’s, he worked in the field of information technology and telecommunications. He also participated in setting up the Top Result company and the MediaNation. In July 2000, he was named CEO of MediaNation.
